The Moffett Field Historical Society was founded in May 1993, and its museum was once inside Hangar One. It collects aircraft, vehicles and artifacts from the naval air station and NASA Ames.
Its mission statement calls Moffett Field “an essential catalyst in Silicon Valley’s emergence.”
