Parisian burger

The double-patty burger of Linda’s Drive-In on El Camino Real, named for the Parisian Bakery roll it came on.

Linda’s opened in 1956 at El Camino Real and Escuela Avenue and closed in 1985. Its burger had two patties, American cheese and a special sauce of ketchup, mustard, dried onions, celery seed and pepper, with Tater Tots called Super Fries.

Local restaurants and a food truck have since recreated it from the remembered recipe.
